A Golfer's Travels
with Peter
Alliss is a blend of famous names, spectacular scenery, sporting action
and entertaining talk. The first series (view
excerpts), comprising 6 half hour programmes, has already been shown
in over 190 countries with an [audited] viewing audience of some 385 million.
The series was supported by a retail video and an illustrated
book. The success of the first series has led to the committment to
produce a second series of 6 programmes, and this series is currently
in the R&D phase. Following on from the successful first series, Series
2 will be filmed around the world in exotic and scenic golfing locations.
Each programme will include interviews with royalty, heads of state or
world famous personalities -- all of whom have one passion in common:
golf.
A typical programme
will comprise 50% golf, 30% interviews, and 20% travelogue and local interest.

Any sponsorship agreement
will link a corporate name or brand with the series and its related merchandise
around the world for a 3 to 4 year transmission period.
In addition
to the mainbody editorial sponsorship, the following branding opportunities
exist:
Illustrated hard back book --
200 pages and 80 photographs, with at least 15,000 printed in the UK.
Branding opportunities exist in both the text as well as the supporting
photographs.
60 minute retail video -- featuring
golf played with guests at named courses. Sponsors and guests would be
able to feature in editorials, mentions, and sleeve graphics.
Programme credits,
trailers and editorial mentions --
For example, many of the 'Critic's Choice' tv mentions
highlighted specific locations.
Barter advertising spots -- in selected areas;
sponsors may use these to tie in with broadcasts in specific target markets.
Corporate hospitality -- with Peter Alliss.
Sponsors may use Mr. Alliss and his guests in photo shoots for new marketing
materials, functions with key guests, etc.
Guests and brand names -- included in all
releases.
Travel Club -- promoted during transmission
time offering viewers the chance to travel in Alliss's footsteps. Over
3,000 promotional brochures mailed out to viewers which included sponsors'
photographs and logos.
Launch
competitions -- to feature in national and golf press
offering holiday prizes featuring sponsors' brands.
